Butchery

We spoil our pigs and give them the very best food and care that is possible. We use a local, very small abattoir who are fantastic. What we weren't impressed with was their butchery service. That is why we have built our own butchery here at Ford Mill Farm.

We want to do the very best for our pigs and that includes presenting them in an excellent way for the plate. We pride ourselves in our butchery and presentation skills. Our pigs deserve the best!

If you keep your own pigs we can now offer you this very select service. Whatever cut of pork, flavour of sausage or burger or cure of bacon. We can help.

Just let us know what you require.

We can even collect from the abattoir for you.

You are very welcome to come and watch and/or join in.

We remember what it was like when our first pigs were ready to go to the abattoir. Not really knowing what to ask the butcher for. Don't worry we will talk you through everything and no question is silly. We're here to make sure you get the very best from your pork.
